What sizes are available for handmade portraits?
We can work on potraits/artwork A1 size (84cms x 60cms), A2 size (60cms x 42cms) and A3 size (42cms x 30cms). Yes, we are good with any size.
How should I care for my portrait?
Keep it in a dry place away from direct sunlight. Don’t rub it too hard.
Will the painting have a background by default? Is it customizable?
By default, there is no background to the portrait but you can choose the background of the portrait without paying any extra cost.
What quality of photos should I use for the paintings?
A soft copy of the image sent via email or uploaded on our website. It is advisable that the photograph you sent is originally taken from a good camera and no screenshot of the images. In case the photograph you mail is inappropriate, we shall contact you.
What are the different mediums available?
The style ranges from charcoal, watercolor, pencil color to mixed media, and much more. We will provide you with the medium of your choice.
When will the portrait be delivered?
The shipping time will depend on the medium and size of painting you pick and the address you want it to get delivered. Since the delivery is done by the third party(FedEx, DHL, etc) it is subjected to weather and other unforeseen conditions.
I want my gift wrapped? Is there any cost?
Absolutely we can have your portrait gift wrapped at no extra charge.
What is your privacy policy?
We understand your concern. BookMyPaintings never shares your personal details with any third-party.
What will be cost of a single portrait?
That depends on the medium and size you desire for your portrait.
What payment methods do you use?
We offer you a different mode of payments- UPIs, credit/debit cards, etc. however, we don’t offer cash on delivery as we work on advance payment basis.
How should I send you the photograph for my handmade portrait?
You can upload it while ordering or send us by e-mail. We prefer the original image and not one copied from WhatsApp/Facebook or any screenshot. In case the image is found inappropriate, we shall contact you.
What are the different sizes available?
- We make portraits / artwork in a3 size (42cms x 30cms), a2 size (60cms x 42cms) and a1 size (84cms x 60cms). However, we can work on any size as per the demand. Prices will vary with the size.
How should I place my order?
simply select your preferred art medium, size of the portrait and no of faces/subjects in the image. upload or send the photographs, make the payment and get your portrait delivered at your doorstep!
What if there is any damage during shipping?
We’ll make a fresh painting and deliver to you. Read our T&Cs for more information
Why is it so costly?
Our Artwork is made with various art mediums and takes a lot of time for preparation. Art is something that can’t be equated with money. We only charge the cost by which we can provide you with the best.
Can I see my artwork before shipping?
We like to keep it a surprise and deliver it directly to the destination. But don’t worry; we make sure the quality of your artwork matches the quality of the samples posted on our website.

How long does it take to process an order?
An order should be placed preferably 10-15 days in advance so that our artists get sufficient time to work on your masterpiece. however, we may take orders on an urgent basis also.
